Roasted Brussel sprouts
Roasted Brussels sprouts are a delicious and healthy vegetable that is perfect for a quick and easy side dish.
Ingredients

- 120g (4oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of parmesan cheese

- 240g (8oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of parmesan cheese
serves 3
- 360g (12oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
- 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons of parmesan cheese
Method
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the brussel sprouts once boiled and removed once tender and soft.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to coat the Brussels sprouts with the oil and seasonings.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast the Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
- Take the Brussel sprouts out of the oven, then add the parmesan cheese over the top, then add back in the oven for 1 more minute.
- Serve the roasted Brussels sprouts hot, garnished with additional herbs or seasonings if desired. Enjoy!
