  • 120g (4oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of parmesan cheese

  • 240g (8oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of parmesan cheese

  • 360g (12oz) of brussel sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the brussel sprouts once boiled and removed once tender and soft.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled Brussels sprouts, olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir to coat the Brussels sprouts with the oil and seasonings.
  4. Spread the Brussels sprouts out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Roast the Brussels sprouts for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized.
  6. Take the Brussel sprouts out of the oven, then add the parmesan cheese over the top, then add back in the oven for 1 more minute.
  7. Serve the roasted Brussels sprouts hot, garnished with additional herbs or seasonings if desired. Enjoy!
