  • 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch/corn flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch/corn flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

Method

  1. Drain the tofu and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut it into small cubes or slices.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch/corn flour, paprika, and black pepper. Stir to make a seasoning mixture.
  3. Dredge the tofu cubes or slices in the cornstarch mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the tofu to the pan and fry it for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it is crispy and golden brown.
  6. Serve the crispy tofu hot, garnished with additional herbs or seasonings if desired. Enjoy!
