Crispy tofu is a delicious and healthy protein-packed snack or meal that is easy to make at home.

- 150 grams (5 oz) block of firm or extra-firm tofu
- 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch/corn flour
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 cup olive oil

- 450 grams (15 oz) block of firm or extra-firm tofu
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch/corn flour
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Method
- Drain the tofu and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut it into small cubes or slices.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine the cornstarch/corn flour, paprika, and black pepper. Stir to make a seasoning mixture.
- Dredge the tofu cubes or slices in the cornstarch mixture, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Add the tofu to the pan and fry it for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it is crispy and golden brown.
- Serve the crispy tofu hot, garnished with additional herbs or seasonings if desired. Enjoy!
