Cauliflower marinated with tahini and chives
This healthy vegetarian snack is bursting with flavour and will fill you up!
Ingredients

- 1/2 medium-sized head of cauliflower
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/8 cup lemon juice
- 1/8 cup water
- 1 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped chives

- 1 1/2 medium-sized head of cauliflower
- 3/4 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 3/4 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons chopped chives
Method
- Boil a pot of water. Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets then add to the boiling water. Remove cauliflower once tender and soft.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the tahini, lemon juice, water, garlic, mustard powder, and pepper.
- Place the cauliflower in a large bowl and pour the tahini mixture over it. Stir to coat the cauliflower evenly with the marinade.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate the cauliflower in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Transfer the marinated cauliflower to a baking sheet and spread it out in an even layer.
- Bake the cauliflower for 20-25 minutes, or until it is tender and lightly browned.
- Sprinkle the chopped chives and sesame seeds over the baked cauliflower and serve. Enjoy your cauliflower marinated with tahini and chives!
